Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat in the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a solid layer.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the sour cream until fully combined.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the layer of crescent rolls in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, pinching the seams together to seal.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Dust the top with powdered sugar before serving.

Cut into squares and serve warm, garnished with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey or chocolate sauce if desired.
